At Realistic Rentals we service and maintain all our vehicles to the highest standard to ensure our customers safety is maintained at all times at our sister company Auto Super Shoppe Albany, also located at 49D William Pickering Drive, Albany, Northshore, Auckland.

How much does it cost to rent a car?
We have a range of cars from budget cars starting as low as $25.00 per day ( minimum 1 month hire ), 8 seater people movers from $69.

What methods of payment to you accept?
We accept credit cards or cash.

Can I rent a car with on a restricted licence?

To rent a vehicle from Realistic Rentals you must have a full drivers licence.

How old must I be to rent a car?

Over the age of 21 years.

Insurance Excess

The hire fee includes GST, 24/7 breakdown cover, and standard insurance ($2000 excess or $500 excess with $20 per day CWD – minimum three day hire). The $2000 or $500 excess will be pre-authorised on your credit card on collection of the vehicle. This means the money is not paid to us but it is put on hold in case of any incidents, and if the car is returned in the same condition as when you collected it, the amount is then released back to your credit card.

How do I make a booking?

You can book online on our website, payment will be taken upon booking.

We have a minimum two day hire charge.

We do not give refunds for unused hire if you bring the rental vehicle back early.
